Hans Suren: " Man and Sun "

In 1924, Hans Suren , German ideologue of naturism, wrote , illustrated and published in German the book "Man and the Sun", which was destined to become a bestseller. In it, he popularized a healthy lifestyle, sport, as an indispensable element of human life, the inextricable link with nature, god-like beauty of the human body.
During the first two years after the publication of the book has gone through 61 edition, 240,000 copies have been sold by the end of the Second World War.
The second reprint of the book was published in 1936 and titled "Man and Sun: Aryan Olympic spirit."

Looking at this book is unlikely to arise in the spectator some vulgar thoughts about the photos of naturism: they wanted that the human body could be perceived not only as a sexual object, but also with a sacred meaning.
